MUSAR 50-Hour Technical Refresher Program        NEW FOR 2025

The two primary goals of this program are to provide previously trained personnel with an opportunity to receive up-to-date information in the various technical rescue disciplines.  These updates can include new or revised techniques, methods, or equipment options, as well as lessons learned or regulatory changes.

The other goal is to facilitate hands-on workshops, that focus on skills that teams might not be able to regularly practice or review, whether due to time, budget constraints, training venue limitations or a lack of specific expertise in that area.

Over the five days, this pilot program will address Operations Level content from all four disciplines: Rope Confined Space, Trench and Structural Collapse Rescue with short classroom sessions and a heavy emphasis on hands-on workshops.
